Create Quote

There are two convenient options to create a new quote within Quote Center. Simply copy and paste a quote from a spreadsheet or turn one of your My Lists into a quote in just a few clicks. This will create a Draft of your quote that you can then Save as a Draft or Request a Quote to send to your Ferguson sales associate to review.

Search for a Quote

You can use the search bar and search on specific quote information to quickly find your quote. Use search to locate a quote by Quote number, Job name, PO number, or Created by. If you don’t have the full number or word, you can perform a wild-card search using partial quote information and placing an asterisk after whatever you type.

Job Selector

You can also view your quotes by selecting a particular job.

Filters

Quotes can also be filtered using: All, Pending, Ready to Order, or My Quotes so that you can easily find your quote.

Quote

When viewing your quotes on the Quote Center page, you can see: Quote Name, Created Date, PO Number, Expiration Date, and Status.

Quote Details

From the Quote Center Quotes tab, click on the quote name to see your quote details.

  • Quote Number

  • Quote Status of Pending or Ready to Order

  • Date Created/Expiration Date

  • Quote Info: account, job name, PO #

  • Quote Summary: Order Now Button

  • Notes, which allow you to add quote information for your salesperson to see automatically to ensure you’re getting the information you need.

Comments can be added by your sales associate and appear in lines along with the product items. Examples may include information on lead time, room where the product is located, blank lines to separate products, etc. If you want to select certain items from a quote, check the “item selector” boxes next to the item number or use “Select All.”

Ordering a Quote

Flip Quote to Order

The Flip Quote to Order featured under Quick Tools on the Dashboard allows you to quickly turn a quote into an order. By simply entering an existing order or quote number, you can click “Review Order” to be taken to the “Review Order” page within Checkout for quick and convenient purchasing. Please note: Expired quotes cannot be flipped into an order. Select Place Order if you are ready to order.

Start a Quote

You can also Start a Quote in several areas including the Dashboard, Quick Tools, and in the Quote Center. By clicking Start a Quote in Quick Tools, you are taken directly to the Quote Center to Create New Quote.

Quote Actions

With Quotes, you can easily Order Now, order only selected items, or print your quote when needed.

To order all products on the quote, select Order Now.

Note: Quotes in pending status have not been reviewed by an associate. These quotes can be ordered now. Please note, products and pricing will remain as shown during checkout.

To order select products from your quote:

Click the box to the left of the products you'd like to order from your quote. Once all the products you would like to order are selected, select the “Order Selected” button at the top of the product list.

Add Products to a Flipped Quote

You can edit a quote that has been flipped into an order by using the Continue Shopping function from the Review Order screen. Clicking Continue Shopping will put the items from your bid into your cart with the pricing that was quoted. Once a quote is in your cart, the selected job or store cannot be modified. If you already have items in your cart, a notification will appear. You can cancel and go back to the Review Order screen, select Save for Later or Keep in Cart to proceed.

Keep in Cart

By selecting Keep in Cart, the quoted items will be added to your cart along with the items already in your cart. The pricing for the items that are already in your cart will default to the selected job's pricing. Please note: The selected job or store cannot be modified once a quote has been added to your cart. The pricing for the quoted items will remain as what was quoted. Please note: If the quote is expired, the pricing for the quoted items will default to the selected job's pricing.

Save for Later

Selecting the Save for Later feature allows you to remove items from your order but save them in your cart to purchase at a later time. The saved items will display below the quoted items in your cart. With the Saved for Later featured, you can choose to move the saved items to your cart at any time. You can copy the saved items to the My List of your choice. You can also select “delete” to remove an item from your saved items list if it is no longer needed.
