- Two instruction booklets explaining the application of each device are included
- The Chlorine Institute Emergency Kit-A (Device 1) is the only US DOT approved capping kit that can be applied to a leaking chlorine cylinder and shipped over the road legally
- All items are labeled with a part number, color coded red and stored inside a durable polyethylene tool box
- Device #8: a patching device designed for sealing leaks in the cylinder side wall
- Kit A also includes a variety of hand tools, inspection seals and additional sealing devices
- Device #2: a clamping device to seal leaks in and around the cylinder valve fusible plug
