Product Details
- Thel-Mar weirs offer the advantage of a 90 degree v-notch for measuring small infiltration flow where accuracy is of prime importance and the rectangular portion which measures larger volume flow rates
- Weirs come in 6"- 16" sizes, both as a standard weir or with the bubbler tube and adapters that house a 15" weir in pipes 18"-48" in size
- The most practical and economical calibrated measuring devise used to determine infiltration in newly installed sewer lines, as well as substantial flows in existing pipes
- Includes bubble level that is mounted at the top of the weir's face plate for easy visibility
- Weir measurements have a +/- 5% accuracy, with a 2% accuracy at moderate and high flow rates
- All weirs are calibrated in US Gallons Per 24 Hours. Calibration lines are in 2 millimeter increments
- All graduations are laser etched for clarity and longevity
- Rugged construction and non-corroding materials that make this weir extremely reliable
- Fits pipe inside diameter: 13.75 - 14.25 in
- The V-notch section measures from 57 gallons to 3700 gallons per 24 hours, which is the range of normal acceptance test requirements. The rectangular section of the weir is capable of measuring in gallons per day up to 35% of pipe capacity (14" = 361,000 gpd).
